In figure 10 of the beautiful mind John Nash is thrilled to see one of the halucinations he sees while he was doing his work on college campus. All the people standing by nash in this scene are imagined.
The cinematographic image is interesting how they have the little girl looking up with so much joy and the emotional impression is that of joy for Jon Nash.
I could use this image for discusion in my paper to state that Schizophranics don't see things they hear things and think things but in the movie they ha to think of something to get the audience to see his disconect from reality.
In figure 12 of the beautiful mind John Nash is seen getting insuin shots to treat his schizophrenia and his wife is turning away. The character of the phyciatrist keeps wathcing Nash go into a siezure aftet the treatment of insulin. This film still reaveals that Nash went throgh hell in life and was one of the poor souls who went through experimental treatments back in the 30's and 40's when we torured the mentaly ill inide our sanitaariums. This scene also shows Nash's wife in too much pain herself to watch he husband have siezures in the hospital room while he's strapped to the bed. The cinematographic details in this scene is that it is filmed wth Nash's wife and the phyciatrist in the main view but then you can see into the hospital room at the same time.
What could have been missed in this scene if jsut watching it is that the wife loos away while the doctore keeps watching as Nash has siezures.
