The two areas my paper needed work is a weak thesis statement and bad MLA citations. I need to revamp my MLA skills and need to rewrite my thesis statement. I am also needing to fix my works cited page. My works cited page is not in alphabetical order and needs the last names to go first and to be indented. I need to not exactly rewrite my paper but I planing on writing it over this weekend. I need to make paragraphs right now my paper is one long paragraph it's ridiculous and I'm embarrassed. So basically what I see when looking over my edited paper from the professor is to fix the paragraphs and figure out the proper way to cite MLA also and strengthen my thesis.

In figure 10 of the beautiful mind John Nash is thrilled to see one of the halucinations he sees while he was doing his work on college campus. All the people standing by nash in this scene are imagined.
The cinematographic image is interesting how they have the little girl looking up with so much joy and the emotional impression is that of joy for Jon Nash.
I could use this image for discusion in my paper to state that Schizophranics don't see things they hear things and think things but in the movie they ha to think of something to get the audience to see his disconect from reality.
In figure 12 of the beautiful mind John Nash is seen getting insuin shots to treat his schizophrenia and his wife is turning away. The character of the phyciatrist keeps wathcing Nash go into a siezure aftet the treatment of insulin. This film still reaveals that Nash went throgh hell in life and was one of the poor souls who went through experimental treatments back in the 30's and 40's when we torured the mentaly ill inide our sanitaariums. This scene also shows Nash's wife in too much pain herself to watch he husband have siezures in the hospital room while he's strapped to the bed. The cinematographic details in this scene is that it is filmed wth Nash's wife and the phyciatrist in the main view but then you can see into the hospital room at the same time.
What could have been missed in this scene if jsut watching it is that the wife loos away while the doctore keeps watching as Nash has siezures.

The topic of my research paper is how the movie "A Besutiful Mind" portrayed John Nash's life in a unrelaistic way. My objective in my research paper is also to show that people living with Scizophrenia can be managed and treated but still the actual events in John Nash's life have been candy coated for the movie. My first source is one I found on Lesix Nexis the Authors name is Alex Tunzelmann . The paper it's published in is "The Gaurdian" and the name of the article is "A beautiful mind hides ugly truths". The relevant information this source provides is facts about John Nash's life such things as what was actualy said at a awards ceremony and his serious problems with his marriage. The argument of this paper is that Hollywood surger coated John Nash's life in a big way to make the movei. I chose this source because it spoke of things that other articles didn't bring up about his personal life. I need more soources then this to write a esssay but this was good for one small source of information. I think this source fits my research topic because I feel that Schiznophrenia is hushed up in our society and not talked about and when Hollywood goes to make a movie abut it it would problaly be surger coated.
The other article I am useing for my reseach paper was written by Andy Seiler and was pubished in USAToday i found on Lexis Nexis. The articles name is "A beautiful mind not factual". The relevent informaton this article brings is that John Nash's life story was re-written for this movie. Allot of the work Nash did was before his phycotic episodes but in the movie it shows him working while halucinating which is incorect. The argument that the author is pushing is once again the same narrative as the last article that John Nash lived a completely different life then what was filmed in the Hollywood movie. The perspective this source adds to my essay is very good and will help me write about how serious Schizophrenia is and how disabilitateing it is. No one can do Pultzer Prize winning anything while phycotic. Also I want to bring in to my essay that like John Nash one can live with this disease and do fairly well. I chose this source of information because I want to use it in my essay along with allot more other sources. This source fits my research topic because it reveals how disabled John Nash lead a different life then the movie.
Seiler, Andy. "It's beautiful but not factual." USA Today 26 December 2001: 1-2. LexisNexis Academic. Web. 14 April 2015.
"Observers and friends say the movie takes such liberties with the facts that it hardly depicts Nash's life at all."
Tunzelmann, Alex . "A beautiful mind hides the ugly truth." The Guardian 19 December 2012: 1-2. LexisNexis Academic. Web. 14 April 2015.
" A Beautiful Mind's representaion of Schiznophrania is affecting, but allot of Nash's rough edges have been sanded off."

My research topic is schizophrenia . I am looking into the real life of John Nash in A Beautiful Mind. I have heard his real life wasn't much like the movie. I also know that the medicine they use to treat schizophrenia has become much better because side effects to medication can be life altering. Also schizophrenics don't see things they hear things so Hollywood had to make up some of the movie. I feel sorry for the mentally ill because people have a tendency to be afraid of them so they get cast out of society and sometimes never receive the treatment they need.

Hello I am a student at LaGuardia I am a technology optimist. I am a sophomore and hope to go to John Jay as a Criminology student or Forensic phycology, I plan on going to Law school. My favorite movies are movies that make you question things or of course comedies. I think today most people are optimistic about technology.
i am an older student but am still greatful to be getting the edgucation I need to chase my dreams in life.
I am going to write a paper on " A beatiful mind " the movie based on the mathmatician who fell ill with skitsophrania. Because I'm interested in phycology studies I think this topic will be fit for me. I also feel that in our country we are going the wrong way by criminalizing our mentaly ill and putting them into our jails. I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful mind movie again and writing my paper and using the huge selection of research sites for our class. This class has been a little challenging for me because I'm one of those people who fears computers a little bit. I'm not a Millenial generation so I didn't grow up with all the technology either. I have basic computer skills and am gaining even more from this class. This is the first time I've ever made a blog or used search engines such as Wikkileaks etc. This class is extreemly good for me to take. I'm just goinbg to try my hardest and see how it goes.
